Please join us (via Zoom) to discuss two films that speak into our historic moment and raise important questions for us to contemplate as disciples of Jesus. Deacon Jeremiah will facilitate discussion and offer a few insights. He has been known to teach (on occasion) a course called “Faith in Film” at Northwest University. Please view the films at home the week before each scheduled meeting. Both films are available for rent, purchase, or streaming on most services (Netflix / Hulu / Apple TV / Amazon Prime).

This week's film is A Hidden Life.

July 26th (11:30 via Zoom)
A Hidden Life / Directed by Terrence Malick (2019)

From IMDB:
Based on real events, A Hidden Life is the story of an unsung hero, Bl. Franz Jägerstätter, who refused to fight for the Nazis in World War II. When the Austrian peasant farmer is faced with the threat of execution for treason, it is his unwavering faith and his love for his wife, Fani, and children that keeps his spirit alive.
